Yeah. My (disclaimer: possibly wrong) theory is that L$ will get much worse before it gets better. I sold a TON last night and thismorning. I'm sure that the (disclaimer: possible) upcoming L$ rollercoaster was considered and is a part of the plan. :) Panic seems natural when making adjustments to the entire economic landscape. It's a shame that we have to go through this again right after they fixed the last crash though.

It always seems to find it's way back to L$250/$1.00 after a reactionary stipend cut, but I think it may (disclaimer: or may not) be prudent for those who wish to sell at a good rate before late January or Febuary to sell right now. :)

Just my L$5.16 (When I gave my 2 cents in the forum last night it only cost me L$5.1 lol) :)

I believe I've heard it said by market mavens that:

"The time to buy is when everyone wants to sell."

By the way, what exchange rate did you sell at, Shaun?

Err, what?

As Shaun pointed out, LL is completely free to do as they please and so are we.

Well, sure, LL is free to turn SL into an unstable nightmare and people are free to dump all their L$.

Thanks for registering your opinion, blaze! I was unclear as to where you stood on this. ;)

A higher rate than today's... :) I figure that by getting out of L$ NOW, the worst that happens if I'm wrong is I get the current high exchange rates. :) If I'm right, on the other hand, I can buy back MUCH more L$ than I sold when panic erupts (continues?) and hold it until the next corrective stipend cut. Seems like a winning proposition either way.
