First Land question

If I bought my land and never claimed any first land, does this mean I am no longer eligible? I ask, because I bought a nice piece of land instead of all the awful places that were first land. Now I am thinking I should have taken the first land, sold it to somene close by and then bought my land. Any help would be apreciated.

Why don't you try contacting someone at customer service (or Guy Linden?).
Although you PROBABLY did miss out, everyone does have the
right to buy 512 at the reduced price. (Ok, maybe they don't have the 'right'...
but they should.... DAMNIT!) =)

I've now known multiple avatars who have missed out on their first land opportunity. Once you purchase land commercially or you donate your land tier to a group you sacrifice that first-land chance. It's a bummer but if customer service doesn't cut you a break I wouldn't hold it against them.

This is probably one of the more common mistakes made and if all else fails just delcare it a loss of 10USD relating to the land sale and don't to got a movie to make up for the difference :^).

First land is a one time privilege that is cancelled if you buy any other land.

I missed out too when I was new, but I don't regret it.

Because of where I wound up buying the land I got instead of First Land, I wound up making a friend who lived nearby, who wound up introducing me to my in-game gf, who I've been with for a year now.

If I'd gotten first land instead...well, my SL would have been very different, and likely not nearly as nice.

Ok, thank you for the info all. I love the land I bought, so no real regrets.
