Hello

Ive been discussing this with alot of people and no matter how i look at it it comes tot his one conclusion, so let me begin.

Last night i went to bed after seeing on the market a -2L$/1USD change happy in feeling that perhaps the market would be stableizing now

But when i woke up the market had jumped a rediculously high 20L$/1USD, i was shocked, i didnt understand why untill later i knoticed that the system is no long sellers trying to sell at a decided price and buyers trying to buy at a decided price its now set up so that buyers control the market, This basicly means that if enough Buyers want to buy at 1000 lindens per 1 usd then thats what sellers have to sell at, although youd think they could take there lindens else where, like the SLex,

This wont work because if you dont have enough money the Lindex pops up, and the Lindex is SLs currency trading system this means that people will check the lindex when buying first so if they see that the lindex is selling at 1000/1use why would they pay 1usd for 300 from the SLEX.

This means if the Lindex crashes (value of the linden per 1 usd raises to much) then so shall all ther others.

Now that this has been stated if the lindens lose value, 1 of two things or both will happen

#1: Prices will raise to meet the lowering value, "If im selling my pants i spend hours on for 1 USD i want ! USD for it weather that means 1000 linedns or 320.

and #2:" People like my self who rely on sl to pay for its self among other things will literally be run out of biz and beforesed to close shop,

I understand stipends, Your new, you wanna chat go to clubs, have fun, buy interesting and great items. but what happens when all the hard working big names die out or chared 25k for a shirt and your stippends are only 500 or so a week?

stippends need to reflect the rate of sink or sinks need to reflect the rate of stippends i dont care either way there needs to be a ballence,

Conclusion:
Lose of value = lose of quality in content = less interesting items and place = less fun = less longer term players = sl shuttiong down.

PS: i just dont want to see noobies making shirts with Stock textures and selling them for 3k because none of the decent or great quality items are even remotly affordable to the average player.

Opinion on SLs recent changes:
I feel like SL feels we the "Creators" or thoughs with the lindens are incapable of creating interesting and or fun "jobs" so they feel they need to make the average player feel like they have alot of money, what happens when there 500 a week isnt enough anymore? what h appens when a skin is 20k rather then 2k?? how will a average player feel when they think they get 500 a week and have to save up for a year and still wont have 20k??

Thanks for your time, hope i didnt make anyones head explode.

Hear Hear.

every morning i get up and check the lindex to see that the L$/US$ and gone up once again, i can't even sell an order of lindens because i can set them at a reasonable price one day, and the next day its shot up another 20 lindens. ITS TIME FOR THE LINDEN LAB PEOPLE TO STEP IN AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!

A 2 year old could have figured that out.. I believe the key is
about keeping the Linden Dollar from falling to a value of pennies
on the dollars. Use your brain..

Let me try making some mindless quotes

a) "Fed will stop raising interest rates, but not at a point most would hope for."

b) "George Bush will no longer be President, but not at a point most would hope for."

c) "The Internet will move from IPv4 for IPv6, but not at a point most would hope for."

Wow Armitage, you are all brain. If only I could be as cool as you.
