Why is land so expensive in this sim? 512s seem to be priced at $19,999L minimum. Doesn't appear to be newish members selling them either. Are these prices realistic or unrealistic?
(I know the story behind Shermerville btw...looked it up on the forums...I just don't understand the astronomical value of the bland land.)

Because there is only little of it and (strangely enough) much more demand, apparantly. Apparantly those are the prices some are prepared to pay to live in those sims.
edit: I don't actually *know* if anyone is actually buying them, but I do know that these kind of prices have always been charged there and it's now always been the same plots for sale.

Yep, supply and demand. The few people willing to supply land in the area are demanding a lot of money for it.  |
