LL could take the money that used to go to the FLAGRANTLY gamed 'DI' interface, and use it to 'buy' however much in $US that would be in $L over the course of a month

Instant L$ sink that does not hurt anyone, does not require any recoding of anything, does not steal people's stipends, allows money to FLOW through the economy more from people buying to selling, and then be 'culled'

Even some fraction of that money would end up significantly helping pull the economy into shape, without hurting consumers, or producers in SL, and it would DIRECTLY benefit the people in SL who are making the content people in SL actually enjoy (by helping to fight the drastic inflation that we've been seeing that hurts EVERYONE in game who makes/sells content of any type what so ever.

Best of all it is sort of cumulative aka every month more would be pulled out, that would not be cycling back the next month too and the month after

And before you all flame me, yes, I know this is *NEVER* going to happen.

Thats a shame, because when DI was pulled away, people were promised a more fair/equitable way would be found to reward those who have made SL what it is today, the content creators...

Developer Incentive, the old program where LL would credit you based on yer dwell/traffic ranking, and the people who made the most 'compelling places' (aka put out the most camping chairs once they were invented) would be paid credit against their tier costs...

It somewhat worked, and helped us out for awhile, but we were one of the few who managed to do it without the keywords 'free' 'money' 'sex' 'club' 'camping' 'chair' anywhere in our land's description

It hurt some when pulled, but LL did mention the posibility of some of those resources being better used in a way that could not be gamed (and i don't see how $L buyback at market rates could be 'gamed' for profit)
