Not sure this is the best forum for this questions, but....

How can I combine several oddly shaped pieces of adjacent land into one parcel? Clicking and dragging seems to work for strips but I cant seem to get it to select must my land in odd traingular corners.

In one instance I subdivided 32 sm or of the middel of a tract, so I could have a specific find places listing and landing point for that piece. Now I want to recombine them back into one tract. The larger tract is triangular. How can I select all of the areas?

Are there any tricks I dont know about like Shift-Click-Drag or ???

Not sure if this solves your problem as you probably already know it... but you only need to select as little as 16m on each parcel to join split parcels. When I buy additional land to link I simply stand on the border of the original parcel and select land one square on my side to one square on the new side, choose join and all is well. You may have to combine in steps, but unless you have a 16m diagonal from a parcel you should be able to join in this fashion.

No, if the land is in the same sim, it can be joined. it doesn't even have to be adjacent.

Edit land and click-drag a big box across the land so that one or more parts are touched by the selection. Press JOIN. Any number of parcels in the selection are joined. They can even be on opposite sides of the sim. Diagonal doesn't matter.

The only trick is that the owner of the parcels has to be the same.

Thanks Shack... since I never tried to select land I didn't own I wasn't sure if diagonals would work! Good to know if I ever snap up those errant 16m plots littered about!

Thanks Shack, I had assumed incorrectly that if I could not get the entire parcel highlited that it would not join.
