Recommendations on starting a new business?

Hi, I'm going to be launching a new product soon.

Its being design as a mass-market entertainment device(yes, purposefully void ).

What are the best ways to market a new product in SL? Should I rent a store, or find other people with stores to carry my item?

Also, when it comes to advertising what are the best ways to get the word out about it?
