Unfortunately i am writing this thread because i was just a victim of a land swooper. Mainly because i didnt know all the things needed to know about selling land. My bad,but here is the thing, why would u want to take advantage of someones honest mistake in a game like this and snatch their land and not be willing to give it back? I know i would give it back or remedy the situation correctly, but that must be because i have morals even in SL. All u land swoopers out there need to be relistic and be willing to remedy an honest mistake by the smaller people in the game, thats my/our hard earned money your more or less stealing. In no way would i think that a piece of land worth 15k min being sset for sale for an unusually small amount be right and try to take advantage of it. But again, must be that morals thing. I even told the land swooper what i had done and what happened, but he chose to ignore me. How rude is that. You know who u r TEDDY WISHBRINGER. No matter that it was him or any other, the pleadings of the smaller guy about an honest mistake should be enough to remedy the situation right, but alas its not. As to my idea about remedying future instances of land swooping. THERE SHOULD BE A SET TIME DELAY FOR SAID LAND GOING TO PUBLIC SALE SEEING HOW MISTAKES R INEVITABLE SO PEOPLE CAN DO WHT THEY R TRYING TO DO AND GET IT DONE WITHOUT FEAR OF BEING SAID LANDSWOOP VICTIM.
No real choice but to live and learn on this one seeing how the landswooper did nuthing wrong according to SL rules and regulations. Seems to me i cannot be the first for this to happen to and there should have been enough victims of landswooping to have had something like i suggested done about it. Or at least a way to get the land back. I mean, all u have to do is look at the money transaction of the one reporting it and see there could be no way it was intended, at least not with the person the transaction was with.

You went through several warning boxes. Deal with it.

There didn't used to be warning boxes. Now there are. LL did something. You not paying attention is not their fault.

i want to thank Teddy Wishbringer for finally rectifying the situation. Yes it was ultimately my fault, but had i known a lil more about land sales and the instantaneous posting to public sale ahead of time or had the notecard given to me about land sales when bought my first piece of land, this would never have happened in the first place. I admit my mistake, and was dealing with it. Im just glad that Teddy was a good enough person to work with me on rectifying it, Hooray, there r moralistic peeps in this Virtual World of ours afterall. Thank god for that. Hopefully, maybe some of the others that do this will learn from this as well!!
