I relaise that one of the perks of a preimum account is being able to own land, but, how about making a small section of small parcils of land avalalbe to basic account users? Obviousily there could be restrictions on this, (like, not being able to use it for a business, etc...) but it would be nice for basic members to have a place to form a community, no? There are users who (like me) dont want to pay for a premium accound as they would not use alot of the benefits of it, and dont want to pay 10 clams a month for something that there not going to really use? As i said, this land could be set aside, out of the way, and only for basic account holders so as to keep the nice land plots (waterfront, etc...) for premium members.

Then there would be less of an incentive to tier up, and help LL get a profit.

Land = Server Space = Expencive = Monthly Charge
Its not one of the perks, its the MAIN perk to go premium.. The only other one is the L$ you get monthly, afaik.. _____________________

this is why I think basic accounts should go away.
charge $5 a month or something, but get SOME value from basic account holders... then give us more land (start at 1024) when we go up to $10 a month. _____________________

Y'all are right, i guess that is the main perk. However, i dont agree with the above comment that free basic accounts should go away! Some people just really want ot log in and hnag out. I can do without land ownership, but dont get rid of free basic accounts!

Sean, you can own land on private islands like Cosy Home without having a premium account. But you would also have to buy the land and pay your monthly taxes. Mel |

oh zap you so funny I am?  Or was that sarcasm, my sarcasm detectors on the blink recently Basic accounts are a WONDERFUL deal as it is, they are hosting your entire inventory for nothing, you get L$50 a week just for logging in.. L$50 a week forever = a lot. _____________________
