Island Payment Question

Hello,

I currently plan to get me an Island.

That means I'd be owner of the island as far as LL is concerned and pay the fees to LL.

Now, I have 3 more people who will then pay _me_ money as all 4 of us will hold the island together.

The issue is that we all live in different countries. I live in germany, the 3 others in Germany, the UK and USA.

Now, I hoped someone else ran into the same problems: Payment across countries with reasonable fees and how to take the currency exchange rate into account.

I was thinking about switching one of my chars to paypal as payment method and having my friends pay into paypal. The other option is to stay on my Credit Card payment and withdraw my paypal balance from paypal to my bank account monthly.

Or does anyone know of an even better way?

They can pay you in lindens. sell the lindens With lindex, etc (Which can be found on secondlife.com) and you get a USD balance, LL always takes from that balance before taking from your RL account.


Just an idea. May cause you to lose some dollars, though.
