Anyone else peaved that it takes so long for Lindex/LL to process a credit?...sometimes 5 days. There seems to be a bit of injustice here considering the $L we sell goes immediately into the hands of the buyer...and the seller has to pay fee's and wait indefinitely to get paid. At least with IGE its done THAT NIGHT. I like to keep the money in the family, but I cannot understand why IGE can do it and LL cant *shakes head*

It's basically fraud management.
I believe if you make a number of currency sales that are 'out of the ordinary' (relative to your account, not the populace as a whole) you'll get queued up for fraud checking. Part of it, I suspect, is likely the recent currency trading that has created a lot of recent extraordinary amounts of currency sales.

I dont buy the "Fraud Control" scenario, after all, LL has everyones credit card and personal info. Besides, I have traded in the same amounts for days, weeks and months so the "red flag" to queue my account isnt a viable reason either. And this has been going on since they initiated Lindex. No consitency whatsoever. I say we leave Lindex to the day traders and buy/sell at IGE...where there is an emphasis on turnaround and customer service. Better yet...lets resurect GOM so that Lindex isnt the only game in town. When you have a monopoly you can do whatever you please. Hmmmmm...I think I will start a new thread...Resurrect GOM!!

From: Stroker Serpentine Besides, I have traded in the same amounts for days, weeks and months so the "red flag" to queue my account isnt a viable reason either. And this has been going on since they initiated Lindex. No consitency whatsoever. I normally check out once a week (the day varies)... and have had my payment made within 48hours pretty much consistantly since christmas (usually much quicker - e.g. yesterday I had a checkout processed within about 5 hours). If you're having longer delays, then I would strongly suspect that there's more to the checkout process than a simple first in/first out queue - maybe there's a manual inspection triggered by volume threshold or similar? Might be worth posting a question to the answers forum for clarification.
