Hello:

Yesterday on the forums I read someone mentioning there are ways to execute contracts between a seller and buyer of a package of products and services.

I would like to know how this is done, please either answer here or via IM

Thanks!

There is a notary service, called Nota Bene that keeps a copy of contracts and will check if they've been tampered with.

I've recently used it for the first time for a large contract conducted entirely in world, with no problems. It costs I think it was L$100 to register your contract, and things are tied to avies tightly. There's a registry system in Neufreistadt for it which can tell you the process for using it.

How that would tie to a big contract in RL terms I don't know, I'm not a lawyer. there might be other mechanisms too, but that's definitely one.

Hi Eloise. I have only been on SL a few weeks (rezdate is last year but finally got my computer up to snuff). Can I use search to find Nota Bene and what is Neufreistadt?

Thanks,
