Are you sure you can't afford tier?

It has come to my attention that some people are giving up soda pop so that they can justify paying tier. (See thread: /130/14/78438/1.html) Is this not the most wonderful news? Soda is a deadly substance. There is enough sugar to kill a horse in one can. Not to mention enough acid to chew through most other lifeforms from the inside out. I can see the new ad campaign, it's coming to me...

Aspartame will kill you quicker than refined sugar.

Sitting in front of a computer all day is even worse for you.

Oh hell, we're all gonna die someday and most of us don't know what's gonna kill us.

:p

That's just because I'm the kinda guy that people say "he seemed like a nice guy, kinda kept to himself... I always did wonder what he was collecting those AV UUIDs for though..." to the television reporters after the event.

just joking, really! hey, why are you hovering your mouse over that button with the red triangle and the "!" in it beside this post?

Well, at least there's medical evidence about the sugar and aspartame.

I was chatting about land prices earlier on today and I realised that if I gave up smoking, I could afford my own bloody sim.

But sitting in front of a computer all day is a gateway drug to junk food....

Hmm... I hadn't considered that, but maybe if I take up smoking, then I can give it up and be able to justify spending that money on more tier...

Hey pal, listen up. I'm not giving up soda pop entirely, and even if I was it'd be for the money and not any potential health "problems"!

Regarding your mention of sugar, I am not a horse and therefore do not plan on getting killed like one. And as for acid, if it's so bad for us, why doesn't it eat through us after a couple of cans?

This sounds like yet another of those PETA misinformation press releases. Well, forget it, I'm onto your game.

I.... I.... :-S but I want to have my soda (diet!) sitting at the computer playing with stuff on my own SL land! I know... I'm just greedy like that... :( Soda and SL unite! I don't smoke, though. Ha ha :)

It is my understanding that just the act of living itself will kill me someday.

I know 1 empty can o' pepsi = 1 penny ! (What?!)

So if I start building resistance to that much sugar/acid/caffeine right now, eventually
I'll be able to drink 195,000 cans of pepsi a month, recycle and justify
monthly tier for a whole sim!!!???

Well I'm guessing there's more to it but I gotta run to the store.....

Hmm, 24 cans of Mountain Dew (Cube) = $5.00 x 2 per month = $10.00 (512m2)...bah Sorry not worth it. I'm keeping my Mountain Dews. :)

only 2 cases a month? I go through 1 1/2 cases of diet pepsi a week ;P

No wonder I lost 15 pounds when I switched from regular to diet hehe.

I gave up soda and chocolate milk years ago when i started dieting and lost 75 pounds. My mom recently gave up beer for some reason and started drinking cola. She put on 50 pounds :P
Sugar is a horribly dangerous, addictive substance. I can't for the life of me imagine why it isn't regulated.
And yeah, people who cant afford this and that are usually just being petty. I'm pretty sure they spend more money on stupid impulse buys than SL.

I've been attacked verbaly by smokers for drinking Pepsi, because it's bad for my system.. and it will damage my insides...

I was stunned and humoured by the event.
