Only the 4 city sims allow for double prim usage. Grignano, Sistiana, Barcola, and Miramare. They were an experiment by LL. You will be extremely hard pressed to find affordable land for sale in any of these sims.

What about Dore and Luna? You can't *buy* land outright but I think she was just asking about double+ prim usage in general.

Thank you all for the info. What iim trying to figure out is, what is a good selling price, for about 7k meters in a doubble prim mature area. i was hoping to compare prices... but theres nothing to compare it to. i was offered 100k... im guessing thats too little now after reading your posts. Should i keep the land!? If i did sell it what should be the min L$ per meter? Thanks again! Kaya Did you say 300L$/meter !?

If you have double prim land, to sell it would be, maybe, the Worst Idea Ever. There aren't any more plans to bring up double prim sims any time soon, due to the enormous personal work involved in getting them functional. Thus, double prim areas are increasingly rare and insanely sought after, especially by content creators. You could probably charge a mint for rent to recoup your monthly tier fees. In short, selling your land is a bad idea, unless they're offering like, oh, seven figures. LF

Realisticly, you could sell it at 100-150L/m2. There's some for sale right now at around 240L/m2, next to the hub which has not sold, so I don't know where LF got the 300 number.
I would advise either use it or sell it, you're sitting on extremely sought after land and not doing anything at all with it... Yes, it's true that you'll likely never get the opportunity to own such land again, but if you're not using it, what is the point?

If anyone is willing to pay 7 figures for land in the city, then I have about 5K to sell you LF. I am personally attempting to focus my building into the city again and so I perceive value there. I have seen a lot of vacant, idle plots these days, and more then anything I would like to see them sporting builds that will make the "city" seem like less of a vacant parking lot. It's all about perception. It was a small release, and rare for sure, although the benefits of 2x prims come with limitations including no terraforming and Linden infrastructure that is not that refined and quite askew after several patches/updates. 2x prims came from only offering 1/2 a sim of buyable land. Bottomline is it only has greater value to those who wish to develop there, it is a small market. Lots stood empty for sale in Barcola for over a month with prices around 50/m2 until he offered them to me at a more reasonable yet still extremely high 25/m2. I have purchased lots at auction there for 80US/1280m2 as well as in world L$ sales anywhere from 15/m2 - 50/m2. You are seeking whether or not 100K is a good price for approx. 7K in land...which is slightly under 15/m2. I would think that's a little low, but probably a good starting spot...if it were still the days when all Mature land was averaging 10/m2, I would think it's worth around 25/m2.

So long as it doesn't cost people anything much to buy up lots of land and just sit on it in hopes of cashing in on the false scarcity they're helping to create, you're going to see parking lots galore. Personally I wouldn't mind if they reorganized land use fees to charge people with large parcels of near-zero dwell land more money. Certainly someone running something like a successful nightclub is much bigger boon to SL than someone sitting on ninety-thousand square kilometers of land giving it inflated value. Of such things are market bubbles made.
