Hey guys. I'm thinking on taking the plunge and switch to premium account, both to increase weekly stipends and to get a small piece of land fro myself. Here's the deal, I have read tro and fro and if I got it right, when I change to premium, my CC will be billed for the period I choose, I'll get $1,000.00L and also $500.00L weekly plus rating stipends and the ability to purchase 512 square mts of land where I found some land for sale, correct? That land I purchase will also have the ability to hold up to 117 primitives which I can use to my heart content, correct? The final charge on the CC for premium will final, no extra charges for anything else as long as I rema in in these conditions, only the amount charged for the period of my choosing (monthly, quarterly, etc.) I do find the idea appealing, just need tomake sure, the info on the landpage is a little confusing. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you all.

I was looking for First Land last night and none was coming up at the promised $1L/square meter. Was the server having problems? This land cannot be all bought up, right?

Most of the time first land is not all bought it up. Sometimes you have to wait for it to become available again though. Second life seems to be growing, so the cheap first land sometimes goes fast. It just depends, sometimes there is a ton of first land, sometimes there is none. Give it a week, they will release first land again. The land is worth at least 3 times as much if it is PG and at least 4 times as much if it is Mature, so you are getting a great deal; wait for it.

If you select 'First Land' in the drop-down and leave the size and price boxes unchecked, you'll be shown a random selection of 10 available First Land lots.
However, if you select 'All' in the drop-down and put '512' in the size and '512' in the price boxes, you'll get a list of all First Land lots, giving you a wider choice.
There's usually between 75 and 200 available at any one time.
