Please follow this link to the latest new world notes by Hamlet about VGI: IMPROVISE, ADAPT, OVERSIT Due to an influx of Instant Messages by concerned customers over the Dwell money being eliminated, they are afraid that this will cause VGI locations to close. We would like to take the time to assure everyone that dwell money in no way shape or form affects VGI or VGI operations. We will still be around for a very long time, and we are working on many projects to give back to the community by offering classes, and building, and avatar design contests with prizes of money, building contracts, and even commission free or rent free advertisements and/or vending of your winning product at all VGI locations. Our hope is that we can get the people who come to SL looking to just make a buck, to learn how to create quality content in SL and use SL to its true potential. We are not a camping chair location, but a casino with bonuses. Our specially designed chairs and games are linked together to allow players to win multipliers while playing the games to increase the amount of L$ they can earn every 10 minutes or so. our money comes from people playing games, and having fun. Not from dwell money. So you can all rest assured, knowing that your favorite VGI locations will continue to operate and run strong no matter what happens to other camping chairs or dwell. As for people who live in sims where VGI locations are, we are doing everything in our power to keep the population of people at each location controlled in a way where the sim won't be filled with people so that you can always get to your home. We work with everyone the best we possibly can, and value our relationships with our customers, and fellow land owners in every sim we occupy. I thank you all for your patronage, and wish everyone the best of luck. I will continue to see you all at VGI locations, and strive to better serve everyones needs. thank you all again, and have a great day.

All I can say is it just figures that *you* would be one of the biggest things behind camping chairs. Thanks for killing dwell and doing your part to reduce Art and Culture in SecondLife Mr. "I killed a guy with a bayonet once." Pffft!

And on the other hand, Thanks for helping those like me who have $0USD income make enough money to buy some land, upload some textures, buy a JEVN, and make a small business. And thanks for your honesty too.

You have a 0 US$ income? Do you grow your own vegetables and run your computer off a wind turbine?

Yes. $0USD for more than 1 year now. And wind is not the future. I'm looking at solar and lower consuming computers like Mac Minis.
And doctors are for sick people.

And doctors are for sick people. So how do you pay for your internet connection? Or are you just leeching off of someone's unsecured wireless connection? Lewis

Did it occur to you that someone else pays the bills?

That's good news for the competition

This by itself draws the payout % rate on your slots, better than anything... Sounds like we 2 can create the perfect "controlled competition". I'm currently working on exacly the oposite system, i want my machines to return as close as possible to 99,9% and no lower than 97% (wich is currently almost the industry standard for internet casinos) through 300k spins to make people return to my place, instead of camp and gamble till they realize the only way to get out of the system with returns is by not gambling, just camping. I'm either blind or your system seems to collect more than mine. I guess it's a game of profits versus revenue growth, where you can't get both. I chose the path of revenue, i see that as a better long term investment. Some tips to the average daily gamblers: ------------------------------------------------ To those of you that play slots that has payout of 75% (there are tons of creators out there that have "wasted" time creating those): put that money in ginkolottery instead or some other lottery that returns about 90%, the odds are more than 50% better there in the long run, i've won the ginko lottery 3 times since summer 2005, i consider they have a fair payout rate. At payout rates below 100%, the chance of losing bigtime longterm grows by a rate of 2% for each 1% the payoutrate declines. So at 75%payout there's a 50% chance of bankruptcy, at 50%payout there would be a 100% chance to bankrupt. Most amazing to me are people who play gambling machines that dont specify at all what the payoutrate is.
