I read all these wild terms being thrown around for some mysterious powerful someone who is supposed to be driving Linden policy on stipends, etc.
The people who benefit from eliminating stipends are Linden Lab. As the money supply comes into balance, they get to sell $L and increase their revenue, especially if they add more sinks.
If 1/4 of the customers quit because of stipends, do you really believe that a year from now SL won't be much larger than today? Has any "end of SL" change so far stopped SL from growing?
Do new folks care that ratings were made more expensive?

you still don't get it do you, surreal?
SL is a game. i should be able to buy your stuff for free. if you make money from your builds, you are greedy. i shouldn't have to pay money to play a game. i shouldn't have to buy L$ from greedy people.
