From: someone All my land listed for L$1 per m2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Offer ends noon game time This is an announcement made by Hiro Queso who is among the major bidders on the auction, and from what I can gather, a medium-sized land trader. While he may have personal circumstances that made him do this, I can't help wondering if he is doing this because of something LL did that he didn't like, that he feels devalues his land. Or was it the fact that the markets sold land for only $2L/m yesterday after Ryan Linden sent out a letter saying LL was considering an option to buy whole sims for just $981 bids on the auction? (That's how it was understood). Comments?

I don't think you get it. He meant it as a joke. If you look closely, he posted the offer at 12:01 PM, 1 minute past his deadline. Oh oops, I am not suppose to give it away am I?

Well, he also posted it while the game is down and it was impossible to look at his land, but maybe this was just a tacky gimmick to get people to go look at all his land and make offers.

From: Prokofy Neva Yeah, jokes that upset markets are fun, eh? I thought so. So only pretentious diatribes that are grounded in the quicksand of illogic are fair game when it comes to market manipulation?

From: someone So only pretentious diatribes that are grounded in the quicksand of illogic are fair game when it comes to market manipulation? Um...if your point here is to imply that I did that in some post of mine, come up with the post please, and come up with the evidence that there was a "market manipulation" lol. That's just hilarious. A post like Hiro's is irresponsible and just meant to call attention to his own land and get it sold, but also by deceiving some people, including newbies.

From: Prokofy Neva A post like Hiro's is irresponsible and just meant to call attention to his own land and get it sold......... I've told you what the post was meant to be Prok. If I wanted to sell my land don't you think I would list it with more information and coordinates to where it actually is? I think its sad when you can't post something light hearted through fear of someone jumping on it with their paranoid fantasies. From: Prokofy Neva ...... but also by deceiving some people, including newbies. LMAO thats rich coming from you! You're so quick to make accusations and yet you start crying for mother when someone makes them against you. I really haven't a clue how this is deceiving newbies, let alone anyone else. Maybe someone else can explain this to me as I am going to have to mute you prok (sadly the first I have ever felt the need to). Sorry, my sympathy for you has pretty much oozed away.

Counselors will be available this evening to assist those who are experiencing difficulty in coping with the loss of their shattered land owning dreams. Gather at the StarLight Diner in Portage for a land group hug.

A post like Prokofy's is irresponsible and just meant to call attention to his own dillusions. I have known Hiro since I joined SL. He is a fair land dealer, donated land to me for a shop in the new continent and destroyed a radio which had accidentally set copy permissions. I cannot say enough good things about a guy like Hiro.

I cannot say enough good things about a guy like Hiro ' "Delusions" is the spelling I think you are groping for here. I have know Prokofy since he joined SL. He is a fair land dealer and landlord. He has donated land to non-profit causes and simply given it away to some newbies or friends. He also helped expose a person stealing another person's designs. I cannot say enough good things about a guy like Prokofy.

I stumbled upon this possibly apocryphal quote today which was just so apropos: From: someone It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have these three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence to practice neither. -- (maybe) Mark Twain
