Do you like the current currency market situation?

With the large number of threads which are about the devaluation of the linden vs. the USD, I'm curious. Which of the following statements best expresses your feeling about how currency exchange is handled for SL?

1. Lindex as it it currently set up is great and needs no changes.
   
2. The current situation is good, but Lindex needs some minor tweaks. For instance, when you sell lindens in Lindex, the default price that is put in the form should be the 24 average, not the current lowest price.
   
3. Lindex is the right idea but needs significant changes. For instance, we should be able to set up buy orders like GOM used to have or SLexchange.com currently has.
   
4. Lindex needs a major overhaul or should be replaced completely. For instance, if feasible, Linden Labs should set a specific price or price range in which you can buy/sell lindens.
   
5. We should not be able to exchange lindens for USD at all.
   
6. Other?

LindeX its self is fine.

Its the money supply that needs desperate help. If action isnt taken now, more than half of the SL population will live in abject poverty.

LindeX just needs all the features promised by Lawrence, i.e., BUY ORDERS, a couple of months ago and it will be fine.

And those who aren't poor will have unreasonable power.

I'm kinda banking on that, don't spoil my plans please.

The question isn't so much monetary as it is social.

Personally I think things are pretty much ok. I voted for 'minor tweaks' to include buy orders and maybe a little bit more interface convenience.

But really, I don't think people are entitled to free money anywhere, anyhow in non-survival situations.

If the Company wants to give some out, they can do that. I shall adapt to it, or (at the extreme case) I would go elsewhere, but I doubt it will ever get that bad.

Not that I think the calls for free money will be fading any time soon.

Bumping this to try to get a larger sample... Interesting that 85% so far think Lindex is the right idea.
