Planning on utilizing the landstore? Post your intentions here.

I, for one, congratulate LL on their incredible foresight and close embrace of capitalism. Now, builders and developers will be able to secure land to meet their expansion needs through the landstore.

Additionally, a secondary market for landstore plots will likely arise.

These actions are likely to encourage active trading and strategic growth expansion, creating a whole new class of investors and economists.

I say well done, LL!!

Tell me chris, and I don't want to be offensive here, but at any point did it occur to you to consult with some of your biggest customers on this product?

For example, Anshe Chung, Adam Zaius, etc.

When I build features and products, where do you think I get all my ideas from? My customers.

Simply fobbing off whatever random idea that pops into my brain is not a method which has a very high return on investment.

I'm sure Chris' orders came from 'higher up'. Better to ask *them* if they consulted with Anshe et al.

I understand the need for something like this, but the complete lack of customer research that was performed is utterly mind boggling.

How many costumers does LL have? I realize most won't use this but why customize for one person?

Honestly, I don't know any current or future island owner that wants to have to pay 10$ per month per void space on areas they may or may not grow into.

It's just so obviously stupid, and if they had explained it to us I'm sure we could have explained it to them.

Or maybe Chris considers her an individual, a paying resident, with a valid opinion (different from my own), deserving of respect. Perhaps he didn't yet get your memo that she is supposed to be everyone's punching bag.

Thank you, Coco.

For whatever reason, there exists a huge backlash against Capitalism in SL. Fortunately for us, LL is solidly in the capitalist camp.

Anyone can see that the LandStore offers HUGE benefits for expansion projects in SL... you now have the ability to ensure that you wont have some ghetto griefer build on your fringes.

Yes I believe the land store is headquartered in Turnip next to a similar "capitalist".
