Buy LD with Real Money

Can someone help me? I was told I could buy Linden Dollars for real money, and I want to find out where I need to go to do this? I looked at the site, but can't seem to find any real info so I am hoping someone here will be able to help me out. I have next to no money, and want to gain some to start with, then add more as I go along. Any help?

Hi I am a noobie who also has been looking for a source for more Linden dollars. I also opened the GOM website and it is not clear where the link is for purchase SL currency. Can anyone point us noobies to the right link on the page. Pardon me for not being able to find it-

I use GOM, so I can recommend their site. First, go through the GOM registration process (click on the "Free Registration" link on the main page) during which time you will also designate a PayPal or YowCow account to be used. Then, you can either buy or sell L$'s once your account is verified and logged in. As a buyer, you can either buy someone's L$s already posted, or you can post an order requesting to buy at a price you name and then wait for a seller to fill your order.

You will need to have an account. Once you've got that, click on the link that says SL Market, on the left menu. On the right is a list of all currently open sale orders. These are what you can buy. The best prices are at the top of the list. Blocks lists the number of units for sale. Each block is equivalent to 1000 Lindens. The price per unit is listed next, and the total sale price is listed in brackets. if you want to purchase, click on the link that says buy, on the same line as the sale you're interested in.

The thing you need to remember is that GOM isn't a store. It's a market where people trade Lindens. The advantage of this is that you're always going to get the best price possible. You can also buy Lindens at IGE, which is much easier to understand. However, their prices are fixed.

IGE is much easier to use if you prefer convenience. but the purchase price for L$ is substantially higher. anshe chung also trades L$ for RL currencies.

You will need to register an account with us before you can trade. The whole process may seem a bit complicated for newbies right now, but we've got some big useability improvements coming online in the next few days.

sadly enough GOM will lead to the end of SL. It was fun and relaxing, it will turn out into a place for sharks.

And this is why we need to integrate GOM and IGE with the SL viewer.
