As we all know, Sl is ever changing, and always taking on new comers, and as us builders and scripters know, the sandboxes are becoming more and more crowded. I am proposing to expand both island, and weapons testing sandboxes to 2 X 2 sims in size, thus expanding and allowing scripters and builders room to do just that. IF you have an interest in this, please take the time to vote.

I'd personally prefer 4 non-connected sims to one 2x2 block. Less lag then, since each sandbox would not be affecting the other three.

Adjacent sims don't affect each other anyway afaik. There is no particular advantage in separating the sandboxes out in the virtual geography, and a good one for keeping them together.

Actually, not true.

Adjacent sims share information with each other. There should be at least some overhead involved.

If you can see it, hear it, smell it from a distance, you're sharing it.

Is it just me, or is there a faint but distinct scent of overheated CAT-5e networking cable in some of the oldest, original land?

There are a few other scents, especially downwind of some of the major newbie clubs, but I'm not even going to speculate on what those are...

One solution would be more frequent wipes. Too many times I've seen builds stand half completed (and eating space) for 8+ hours. (Not to mention the idiots that rez the same set of huge buildings day in the sandboxes, after day, after day. Or the idiots who build themselves huge skyboxes and then just leave them sit.)

You could also just run a strip West from Newcombe etc conntecting with the South side of Sandbox Island.

Kinda getting off topic here, however the land is arranged the real point of this proposition is that we need 'more' of it. If you'd like to have more Linden sponsored sandboxy land, go back to post #2, follow the link, and vote!! ^.^

Me and Raistling bought land before, Spent most of our time on it, If you ever seen those corona commercials, That's basically what our land looked like, It was fantastic, Till payment.

Anywho this isnt about one specific person this is about the Second Life community. We have a Welcome area thats 4 Sims big, And now we need a building area.
