okay, I just bought a parcel, costed about 50 dollars usd (15K linden) and now I have this little sign right near my parcel that plays anoyying sounds every few seconds, and it's giving me a headache... is there any way to block out sound in your parcel so that this doesn't become a problem for me?

I think if you right click your parcel, choose about land, Options tab (or something), Then theres a restrict sounds to this parcel check box? Check it.

Its actually under the media tab, looking. Right at the top, restrict spatialized sound to this parcel.

I think if you right click your parcel, choose about land, Options tab (or something), Then theres a restrict sounds to this parcel check box? Check it. I think this only restricts the sounds going out from your parcel, it doesn't silence the sounds coming in from a neighbour's parcel. When I had a similar problem with a neighbour's noise (massive waterfall next door!) I contacted my neighbour and asked him to do what you suggest i.e. restrict the sounds to his parcel. Luckily he was a reasonable guy and the problem was solved. Hope you're able to solve your problem Allison ![]() |
