I know I saw a page about how much land I could buy in a given time or something to that effect. For the life of me I have searched high and dry but can't find it.

Could you please direct me to it or did I imagine it?

Hi chef,

There is no limit, I think, on how much land you can buy or when, if you are a premium subscriber. The only problem is that you have to be willing and able to pay the monthly "tier" payments. Unless you are already paying enough to cover your new purchase, you will be asked to go to the website and increase your monthly tier fee before your purchase can go through.

So have as much as you like whenever you like- but you need to pay for it.

Hi.

I remember seeing something like that too but I think it had to do with your spending limits. Does anyone know where that page would be? If you have a spending limit, then that would restrict the amount of anything you could buy, wouldn't it?

BTW...my account says I have an "Allowed Holdings" limit of 2560 squared meters. That looks like a land buying limit to me. Does that have to do with how much money I can spend?

Bargain, yes it's a "limit" but more like a soft limit. Nothing is stopping you from buying more than your "allowed" land. You can go over, but then your "allowed" limit increases to match the new land tier you would be in.

Ahh yes, I understand, duh, I should have realized that was my tier buying limit.

I think what you _might_ be looking for is LindeX currency transaction limits, which are located here:
https://secondlife.com/currency/index.php

There is no limit on how much land you may buy. However, to buy land you must be a Premium account member and you must also pay a monthly tier fee based on the maximum tier size you owned over the course of the month prior to your regular billing date. If you have a positive account balance from the sale of Linden dollars on the LindeX or an account credit from a Developer Incentive Award your account fee and tier fees will be deducted from this amount.
