whats the point of the 200 meter high banmiles? To bring any traffic and exploring finally to a total stop? To make the mainland even more attractive so people buy more islands, while this place turns from a "world" into a patchworkquilt of isolated places, while certain idiots got nothing better to do than fence in empty landparcels in so that no one can cross?
Thanks a lot for this real improvement!

Hey Marmela, I think the ban lines are being switched so only specific avatars that are banned will be impacted by the 200 m high banlines .. so relief is on the way :)

The better solution is suggested in his post. The ban lines should go back to the way they were. Most people don't care the least about what is on the ground in those boring fenced in parcels. It is annoying not being able to go anywhere without hitting ban lines though.

My suggestion is to be rid of those ugly red fences and get security orbs, 30 meters or less on buildings.

* Residents explicitly banned from a land parcel cannot fly in that parcel's airspace, to a height of 768m
** Residents not explicitly banned, but not on the access list, can fly over the parcel at an altitude greater than 50m

sounds a lot more reasonable! oh yeah, -and-...

* Snapshots to disk are now taken with CTRL+` instead of just the ` key

lol!! woohoo!! i have one less embarrassing enemy built into my keyboard...:)

Change back to 50 meters will be very nice. :) I think by flying 50 meters above a parcel, I'm already demonstrating my lack of interest in the people below. There is no reason for people to be so paranoid in a place without theft or physical damage. Finally, I won't be locked in on parcels, because I'm not able to fly high enough to get over them. Very nice. :)

No doubt. With all the people who make security products for land and dwellings, LL should get rid of the banlines altogether. Many of the private SL security products are better and less intrusive. Also, they are more flexible. to increase the height of the ban zone just causes problems and makes ppl angry.
