finding location to host an auction

Dear SL residents,

I plan to host a auction inSL and I am in search of the location for it.

Does anyone have any suggestion where should this event be?

Could you elaborate? What are you auctioning,...?

Well, can you give a rough estimate of how many people shall be attending the auction and how big of a space you want?

Considering the size and nature of this auction, I recommend that it be held over there.

The Phoenix Spa Resort *might* be interested in letting you host this there. I would need to know:

*What you are auctioning
*How many people you think will attend
*How big a space
*Time and date

first of all, thanks for the reply, I was worried that no one will reply.

and in terms of the auction, we (me and my partner) plan to hold a silent auction for a class project. the major theme of the auction stuff will be "your favorite item". we plan to ask people to donate their favorite item in SL along with a little description of why they like it.

the success of this event will be based on the auction money, and the number of people who participated, so the more people the merrier, since it's a silent auction, we don't expect people to show up at the same time,

I built a prototype auction place/house, 4x4 tiles of squares(streched to the maximun size)
but don't know where to put it. I'ts a round building and there will be sittle stools around the building to hold each auction items.

the time and date of the event, we are shooting at next weekend, Nov 12, 13

So, any ideas where is the best location for this auction?
