I think GOM is an excellent service. On the rare occasions that I have had a problem, they have been pretty quick to correct it. I'm sure what ever the problem is will be corrected asap. You have to remember they're a small company and not monitoring emails 24/7 :)

There is also a problem with another SL-to-web service that I use; I believe there may be some issues or delay with communications from SL to the third party sites. But to echo Hiro, GOM is a two person operation that always makes good on transactions - often within minutes, never to my knowledge in more than 24 hours.

Thanks for the support, guys! :)

Dax, if Zep hasn't fixed this by the time I get home from work tonight (and I suspect he already has, since he tends to be more of a morning person than I), I'll look into this for you.

GOM almost always works, I've used it tons, and when it doesn't work, it has live people on it that fix it within 24 hours.

I have found that deposits from SL don't work sometimes because of server lags, problems with new patches, bugs, whatever.

And it's an operation in Canada on EST so the people don't answer e-mail 24/7 but I've even had them answer email live on New Year's Eve so I think they are pretty dedicated folks.

What you have is your transaction history in your game in world/my account or on this websit here under support/my account. Save a copy of that to your hard drive. It will have a thing like this: "You paid $2000 to Zeppi Schlegel" or whatever -- it will have a debit of that amount to the GOM person's name on that terminal.

Meanwhile, Zeppi will either have a "Received $2000 gift" from you...or not. So what you both then do is present your transaction histories as a trouble ticket to Linden customer service. They look at it, and they make a manual adjustment if they see there is some mess-up. You can't go wrong. You can't be cheated on this system given your transaction histories with Linden Labs on both side of the equation.

I didn't mean to stir up a big thread here, I just wanted to see if other were having the ssame problems last night. I've sold quite a bitthrough them, usually works ok, but I have had the atm eat my money before too.. (I don't trust RL ATM to take money at all btw, but that's a different matter)

the transaction do show on the SL account info webpage, but as of this posting not on my GOM account yet.

And I'm not worried about them being on Canadian EST, because I am too.

I think that the owners of GOM are in your same time zone, but 8 in the morning is still pretty early for a lot of people. Maybe if you gave them a few hours to respond before assuming the worst they would have a chance to clear up whatever is wrong. If something is wrong, it's likely the SL email function, rather than GOM.
