Now I have no problem with the price. I'm happy to pay that sum for the fine roadside(!) plots they are selling. But why is land being used for promoting such a proposition being sold?!?

Well it's not clear at all what your talking about and the picture doesn't clear anything up either.

Also, aren't you the guy that sells the (TOS violating) chat loggers and invisible robot eavesdropers? Apologies for going off topic, but I find such blatently immoral acts irritating.

Yes I've made and continue to upgrade such items.

Because of that I've talked to many different residents with all sorts of valid reasons for using such a device. The most surprising reason I've heard, and a surprisingly common one, is from the Gorean/BD/Sm _"power"_ roleplayers who want to keep an eye on their submissive(s)/slave(s). After hearing enough stories with more details than I needed to know I can say this is one of the many valid, TOS abiding uses. Using them in Spy roleplay would be another regular pastime of people I count on for buying these spy gadgets.

Even a simple notecard dispensing script can and has been made into a TOS violating weapon of client crash proportions. Than again maybe I get caught up in the fact we're all adults and know when not to do something wrong.

I don't want to make a big issue about this. Some people have morals, some don't.

I will just point out that the reason mentioned above is *not* a valid reason and *is* most definitely a violation of the TOS. Just because someone is role playing a slave does not necessarily mean they have agreed to be spied on. A slave that agrees that their Master or Mistress is the boss, hasn't necessarily agreed to be follwed around and spied on.

There has to be specific knowledgeable consent to negate the TOS in this regard. Unless the slave is told ahead of time that they may be remotely spied apon in secret and exactly the boundaries of said spying (whether it follows them when tehy *aren't* role playing for instance), then there is no agreement. Needless to say if this is done, it negates the utility of your device altogether, so of course this isn't the case.

In any case, a true Gorean master would never use such a device, he wouldn't have to. And as far as I recall (been a long time since I read the books), there are no "invisible robot spy devices" on Gor.

Additionally, it records all the chat that a certain individual has with anyone they come into contact with. None of *those* people have agreed to be spied on by you or have their conversations recorded.

Users of these devices, using them the way they are designed and intended to be used by the designer (you), *are* definitely violating the TOS, no doubt about it. There is no grey area here at all.

These excuses of yours sound to me like legal "dodges" intended to conceal the fact that you make secret spy devices so SL players can spy on other SL players. None of them would stand up in a RL court.

Any player, even the "slaves" in Gorean sims could AR users of these devices and those players would not get off the hook by saying some junk about how they thought it was "implicit" in the master slave agreement. Again, this is legal nonsense.

I don't know who I am more disspointed in. People like you who will make a buck off of other peoples weakness, or places like SL Boutique that allow you to sell them.

I wont bother you with any more words on the subject, but you are completely wrong here.

I have done nothing to violate TOS. I make lots of different things. Until the day a Linden contacts me or changes are made to the TOS, saying I can't make certain things, I will continue.

I know nothing about this large group's culture other than from my interactions with members of this group from conversations about these devices. Though I'd imagine not every SL Gorean has read the books.

Than go create a proposition asking for LL to limit the creation and use of any scripted object that can be used in a malicious way. Doesn't seem very possible without a human review validation process and that's not going to happen.

Great, back to the topic.
