Hiya - I've read the official announcement of the upcoming economic changes. I've also heard a bit of idle rumor passing around SL, and I'd like to verify the accuracy of what I've heard.
Ok, I see that a 50% reduction of stipend payout is coming. Got that.
However, I've also been told by someone that the cost to rate someone is supposed to be jacked way up to $75L. I see no mention of this in the official announcement, though.
My query: is this $75L cost change really going to happen, or is this just a gossipy rumor?

This means you'll still get your base (L$500), but the Delta payments (ratings, ratings this week) are decreased by half. I don't have a link offhand, but it's listed in the "Release Notes" for the latest test upgrade. Check the general forum (maybe the announcement forum too) for the latest set of release notes -- version 1.5.13, released Jan 10, 2005.
