If you buy land and don't confirm it ...

... can you still sell it?

Reason I'm asking is 'cause I'm going to be selling some group land very soon. Problem is, we have quite a few people in the group, and only two of us paid for it. What I was going to do was sell it to me for $0 and then sell the land, but when I tried that I realized I couldn't because my tier is not that high.

So, what if I bought it, didn't confirm it yet, and sold it to someone else? Is that possible? Anyone know?

No. Unconfirmed or (pending) land is not yours, so you cant sell it. It must be confirmed and free and clear in your name first.

One thing to check. When you sell group land, your tier contribution to the group does not automatically revert to you, it remains with the group so that the group can purchase more land, if needed. You have to manually go and reduce your group contribution to revert the amount back for your personal use.

So, reduce the group tier first. When you do, you will get an error that the group does not have enough credits, but that is okay, because your about to buy it. If you still dont have enough tier after reducing the group contribution, then subdivde and sell a smaller part first until you can cover the purchases.

Another related question....if you buy land, but don't confirm it do you get your money back or does the land go public and you're out whatever you paid for it?

It goes public and you're out the money you paid for it.
