Are there any tutorials or threads that introduce a person to the real estate business on SL???
If not, maybe somone can answer my questions.
How much L$ is required to start off with good land?? and where is the best place to get it?

Ways to get land:
1. Buy first land (only get to buy 1 plot for 512L).
2. Use the search to find cheap land or good land.
3. Find land via auction.
Your biggest ongoing expense would be tier. I would imagine it would be hard to do it with a low tier level. For instance if you had this tier level:
1/32 Region 2,048 m2 US$15
You would be paying $25 a month for five 512 parcels. Each month you would get a stipend of roughly 1733L. To breakeven you need at least 7000L income a month at the current exchange rate. So... that leaves a profit of 5267 to make by buying and selling. If you made 250L per sale, you would need to flip over 21 parcels a month to breakeven at that tier.
My suggestion? Have fun for a while in SL and worry about what business you want to enter until you find out what is fun about SL for you.

(o wait nvm, i need land to place objects... but anyways would a blackjack table(s) be a good source of income and are there any other types of objects that you can get paid for when other people use it?) |
