Hi there, I'm just after a bit of info on how to start out as a trader. I have a few nice design ideas and would like to set up a store. I guess the first step is to hire premises or a yard sale plot (if on a budget).
But where do I get all the vendor boards with the navigation arrows that allow you to cycle through the products? Are these something that are pre-built and available or do I have to make them myself?
If I have to make them, is it a 3 prim board (one board, 2 buttons) with a script that switches through the products for sale?
Do I load the products as textures on the board? And finally, how do I tie the product displayed to the price?
Sorry for all the questions, but I don't know where to begin. I have some ideas and designs but not the know-how.
Any help would be really appreciated.

In case other people use this thread as a reference; different vendor scripts do things different ways, but most involve making images to display and loading the images and objects into a vendor and writing up a notecard with information liek description and price. There are plenty of free simple vendors, and most come with instructions.

maybe it's the pain pills I am on but I have having a problem setting up a vendor *lol*.... guess I will have to read the notecards that come with them when the damned pill wears off....
But seems a bit complicated for my addled mind at the moment.

In the meantime, if you have a few low-prim items for sale, you can just use plunk them down and set them to sell copies of themselves. You need a plunking place, of course.
