Ok, I lost a few dollars last night cashing in @ 331, and I understand it always goes down some on the weekends (except the last 2 weekends, due to bad timing of announcements).

But this is the type of economy that will help me "save" my lindens rather than cashing out as soon as I can. I don't mind holding them if I know they won't lose value in 12 hours.

I am not happy at 330 being the balance, but its better than 430, and with it balancing out it's a bit easier to hold on to lindens and spend on things in game. Rather than cash out and worry about being able to pay my tier.

Just wait it may be 320 by the end of the night, I'm crossing my fingers.

321! 250, here we come! :D

Any sane explanation why the L$ is suddenly strenghtening again?

The volume of open sell orders has been constantly decreasing from a peak of L$ 32.5 millions on May 24th to L$ 18.6 millions today at 6:38 pm. The strengthening was overdue and that it didn't start before, i would attribute to:

Lag.

Time to start overcutting?

Um, no? This happened because after all the times Jamie Bergman was posting those SELL SELL SELL scare tactic things, I took the initiative to post a BUY BUY BUY scare tactic, and since we ALL know that almost everyone in SL reads these forums, my scare/suggestion was listened to. Duh! :p

Why lower them? I never did panic and rasie them in the first place. Saved me effort and besides, I never was an RBD Litle fan.

(RBD/Cheyenne/Jamie run screaming.."The L is falling, the L is falling";)

...of course it's a moot point anyway since killing basic stipend killed in world sales of items anyway.

Wow! I'd love to see your statistics of that. Got a secret database of all sales for all merchants? That rocks!

"...of course it's a moot point anyway since killing basic stipend killed in world sales of items anyway."

I'll repeat:

STIPENDS HAVE ONLY BEEN KILLED FOR NEW PLAYERS. THERE ARE STILL EXACTLY THE SAME NUMBER OF PEOPLE GETTING BASIC STIPENDS ARE THERE WERE BEFORE THE CHANGE.

So the revenue you gain from stipends should be exactly the same. If it is not, the change is being caused by something else.
