Auction question

I found a parcel on the map that was puple, indicating that it was up for auction. When I check the auction list, it doesn't appear either under the current auctions or recentely completed auctions. What does this mean? The parcel currently specifies as belonging to Governor Linden for maintenance.

Thanks!

It will come up for auction at some point in the future.

If it is purple but has a name already as "sold to" with Governor Linden as the owner, that means it is a completed auction. If it has no name and there is a figure of 10000 that means it isn't sold yet.

Sometimes the Lindens actually do forget to move a piece of land that is already carved up in a parcel, and it is worth writing them and asking them if weeks have gone by.

isablan, if the parcel is not yet sold then you can look it up on the website. auction sites have an id number. you can use that number in the url instead of the one for the listed parcel and you will see the hidden auctions.

Jauani, thank you. Apparently the auction ended today with zero bids. What happens to the land now? And why doesn't it show up on concluded auctions?

Lastly, why are some auctions hidden?

Thanks!

isablan,
i believe listing is done manually so sometimes LL misses a plot. in these cases, land is simply relisted.
