With the value of the Linden in a free fall, you would expect to see inflation go up in SL. But, I just don't see any evidence of that. I've had to quietly raise some prices to justify the time that I put into my designs.
In RL, companies would have to raise prices to cover increased labor costs. I think many business owners in SL just eat the labor costs, because this is a game.
Have you had to raise your SL prices because the Linden is losing value to the dollar?

Losing a penny on a dollar is hardly a free fall. Take a close look at the size of the blocks of Linden being moved around. Also keep in mind the Land Store opened last week. If anything, this current markets trend shows healthy growth with people not wanting to wait till the Linden falls back down again.

Well, remember SL doesn't have alot of the issues a normal business does.
Once something is built your labor costs are almost nil, excluding fixing bugs. You never run out of supply, you don't have to worry about your supply chain. Your two main expenses are time and land. And for most vendors neither one is overly high at the moment.

No, I just lower my max bid on an auction sim. LL is the one flooding the market let them eat it.
