You have to either A) use Lindex to sell L$ to USD so Linden Labs bill the Lindex account's USD balance, or B) switch to Paypal.

IGE, SLex, and etc all uses Paypal, and bank withdrawls from them will take a long time. Best bet would be selling on the Lindex.

That would be nice, but it really is nearly that simple. Just sell on Lindex and then dont take the cash out. Leave the USD balance in the Lindex account and it gets used first, automatically.

I use LindenX now, but I've used IGE a lot in the past. Paypal is not unreasonably slow. It takes 3-4 days to transfer US$ from Paypal to your checking account. It transfers from IGE to Paypal within an hour of selling your L$. And there are no additional fees for transfering to your checking account, just a $500 monthly limit on how much you can transfer.

The first time that you use Paypal, you will probably need to verify your checking account. This will take 3-4 days. Basically, they make a couple of small deposits less than a dollar and ask you to tell them how much was deposited.
