I do not think [the L$ market] will ... move in a particulat direction

I believe this is normal market behavior. And generally the gap between open limit orders will close to where this is not profitable.

Also, one of the questions was about this sort of trading causing the market to move in a particular direction. I do not think it will.

So the L$ drops 20 points in 4 days and it is not moving in a "particular direction"? How "particular" can a direction be?

Well, it's not moving from the general direction of straight down, so I guess it's true.
