From: Philip Linden We will also be posting a number of different economic statistics in the forums, for those who wish to follow the Second Life economy in more detail. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get these kinds of stats, say... monthly? And on a permanent page instead of just posted to the forum. kthnx.

Then the Lindens would have to live in a bubble and be judged on their economic policy based on their own stats. And most likely those judgements would be negative because of policies that have been a disaster. 2 or 3 policy changes and SL Economy would be on the road to economic bliss.. a) End Stipends b) End New Land Creation c) Create Tools to allow for Contract Agreements (w/Enforcement Abilities)

Why not have it generated daily and displayed as a web page like the Lindex? The system is tracking the totals now, why not just show running economic indicators. You could even delay it 15 mins for those not in game

Keep an eye on the Marketplace link from the Community home page. That page will become the repository for economic stats about population growth, land sales, and L$ value and supply.
