Just curious about the web-based vendor systems. Are people using them? Any recent experiences pro or con?

I've bought several things from SL Exhchange. I love that I can shop without being logged into the game. I don't really like to buy things in-game unless I know exactly what I want and where it is located. Using the exchange, I dont have to tromp through some lag-ridden mall maze, hoping I'll stumble upon what I'm looking for, at the mercy of some over-priced booth vendor. The Exchange has a great "search by sort" system to find not only the item I'm searching for, but also the ability to sort by price, so I can find the best deal. Usually my transaction is completed from search to payment, within ten minutes.

I sell on both SL Exchange and Second Server. SL Exchange seems to work almost flawlessly, and it seems to attract a lot of shopping traffic. It's layout is very clean and easy to use for both selling and buying. Second Server is a little harder to use, but they don't charge a fee on web sales. They also offer in-world vendors that work from the same listings as the website. The in-world vendords do charge a fee. There have been a few technical glitches with Second Server, but all-in-all I'm quite pleased with the service. Hope that helps.
