For your amusement and pleasure:

At the current exchange rate of 1USD ~= 295 Lindens, I thought it mught be interesting to see where the Linden stands vis-a-vis other RL currencies.

The Linden is stronger (more valuable) that 40 other RL currencies, including some shared by several nations. That list includes some fairly major countries (not in value order)

Chile
Iran
Italy
South Korea
Venezuela
Vietnam

The Linden is trading roughly on par with the Greek Drachma.

Some food for thought...

Italian Lira and Greek Drachma are not traded anymore, officially, since the countries are now using Euro as their currency, AFAIK.

$1L == 97 Romanian Lei.

It's the vampires you see. They lower the currency value.

The problem isn't furries, it's GOTHS!

Exchange rate doesnt have anything to do with the "strength" of a currency.
However, fluctuation in exchange rates do.
