What is this "group liability" in my account history?

Ok, so far every day I get a few Linden dollars thrown my way for dwell on group land. And I do mean a few... about 4 to 6 Lindens. Today, instead of group dwell credits, there are two "group liability" debits for a few Lindens each.

What is that? Does anyone know? Keep in mind that dwell is the only money passing through my group, but the group does own land.

Just a guess, but the only thing I can think of causing a group debit would be a directory listing spread across the members - but I don't even know if a group can buy a listing. Or if a group purchased land, maybe...

I think this is for having group land listed in the places directory. L$30 per week per listed parcel.

Chage, Chage, cha-gey... we gotta do something about you. ;) I had a gambling addiction some days back in SL... and lost more than I'd care to admit.

You know what? If Reitsuki posts here, we'll have 4 Aerodrome owners, all in the same thread. :)

Distribution?

I look at this every day and wonder what the heck it is. If it's for listing, then it's way more than the $30 they mention. One older player told me that it is merely the debiting out of the full amount to distribute the amount among group members in a group, it is not an actual negative. But it sure looks like an actual negative. I don't get it.

Look in the history of the groups money tab, the amount should be listed.

dwell payments down drastically

Has anyone noticed that the dwell payments have dropped by a factor of 10!

Your dwell payments have now sunk below the expenses like listing fees.

Not everyone reads them all like you!

Sorry, but trying to find out what's going on.

Given that all 3 threads were in the "Land and Economy" section, you can rest assured that anyone who could answer your question would see all 3.

When you say "Your dwell payments" I assume you mean "My dwell payments". You have no way of seeing what other people are getting. My dwell payments have remained stable for months and are the same today as yestday, and lastweek... (give or take normal fluctuation).

Yes, that is the source of group liability.
