I just ran the numbers and they are:


Sellers: 142
Linden Dollars Forsale: L$29,399,062

Thats not really as high as I would have expected. Thats only like 4.5% of the entire money supply. Hmmmm.

But the number is mainly orders sitting idle waiting for
"The Market" to move higher and execute them. If you
factor in the daily volume, there is actually more than 4.5%
of the float being sold.

I just wonder how IGE could have gotten it so wrong. Why would they ever have bought so much L$ when they had no idea what the suppy was or was going to be!

I think IGE keeps a rolling currency float. I don't think
they loaded up on L$ at L$250 to then be forced to sell
at L$315. I think they are daily working the LindenX
with buying and selling and factoring in a profit.

Now if only IGE would give up their retail model and
start trading L$ and other game currencies and just charge
a transaction fee to trade.
