A feature I would like to see is the ability to create landmarks outside SL and send them into the game. I often browse the forums from work and see coordinates mentioned for places I would like to visit in game. It would be helpful to send those landmarks into the game so that I could visit them when I get home.

i endorse this idea!

..i've also thought it would be nice while browsing the forums if i could do something of this sort, instead of having to open SL and go to the mentioned co-ordinates before i forget which post i saw them in..

This would be nice... but I doubt it will ever happen. Why?

You could make a landmark to Linden only land outside of game, and then teleport in and be there.

So unless theres someway to prevent landmarks out of world being made to hidden spots it probly won't happen.

Maybe... if you could make a landmark in-world and only then bring it out of world. This would prevent the above.

If thats what you meant from the start, ignore my initial ramblings.

Moleculor, what I am asking for is something similar to the current SL URL, but when clicked, a landmark is created in your inventory in the game, even if you are not currently logged into the game.
