I would like the ability to look up people's profiles on the SL website. Anarchy Online has this and it was nice for checking on how your friends are doing and seeing if a name was available if you were starting out.

Only if this is on a password-protected part of the site, with a limit on how many profiles you can pull up at a time. I don't want J. Random Spammer to be able to read my profile.

Absolutely. It would likely be on the Resident Life page where only account holders could access it.
