IE, PONYTAIL PHYSICS, for linked chains of objects.

I know that Havoc physics engine can do this ;p

But I haven't seen anything in SL that can do it...

Go to Olive sometime, you'll see plenty of it. *groan*

You take a bunch of torii or whatever, and you link them together into a chain, and you turn on physics for all the links except the two endpoints... it'll act like a chain, usually dragging physics FPS down to about 10 or 20.

Ragdoll physics might come along someday... would be interesting on avatars. I for one would like to see my avatar stop putting its hands inside its legs and so forth.

Hopefully Havok 1.2 will reap benifets including the aforementioned.
