Propose to make MUTING someone REALLY mute them

I propose that when you MUTE someone (or maybe multiple levels of muting) that it mutes ALL of them. Right now muting simply eliminates there CHAT which is the LEAST annoying part of someone I want to mute.

I want to grey goo them. Know how an avatar is not loading all the way they are just a grey silouette THATS what I want to happen when I mute them. I encounter situation where a griefer will "ATTACH" multiple objects to there body that are SOOO large that they FILL an entire portion of a region (such as the Welcome area in its entirety)

I want it so when I mute them EVERYTHING goes. all there clothing objects scripts sounds effects EVERYTHING so all I see is this mute grey silouette of an avatar with a name above it)

This would effectively and completely NULL griefing. Would render it moot and mute.

they would stop doing it because right now they do it because there is NOTHING I can do about it. but if I neutered them what would be the point. ALSO muting them should render them non solid. so if they ran into me they would just go through me IE remove there avatar physics so they can not even resort to grey doll pushing and shoving.

I agree, muting is done client-side so there's no reason it can't just ignore a muted avatar's attachments (thus not displaying them), and their textures etc. too.

Exactly - that is why a dimwit will come to the WA with attachments that FILL the ENTIRE WA and never say a word. He knows he will be muted pretty quickly but I can not make his world filling crap go away and he knows it.

if I could mute him to a grey avatar and nothing more no particles no poofers no objects nothing (in fact I would even like a mute where I mute ALL OF HIM EXCEPT the text chat.)

thats also why they have names like 1111111--11111111 whatever - they know they will be banned and created that alt for the sole purpose of making life miserable for others.

Why I think he should have the right to do these things if he wants I should also have the right to neuter him if I want on my client side.

Its important to remove there physicality as well otherwise when there sounds poofers and objects do not work they will resort to "pushing" once you remove all that they are just thsi grey avatar and can not bother me.
