I was wondering if there could be a run feature. Some of you know that I've decided not to fly in SL. I'm walking most places, but sometimes I'd like to run. I wanna run like a Kenyan.

And nada I want your best flying script you got (to fly faster) with the most features etc. Contact me in world with how much $$. (Its to go on my staff btw, I'm tired of being slow).

now that i have a little more time, i can do some splaining about troublemaker. See back when SL was called LW, in the time before the beta, known as alpha, LL let in a class from UT as testers. Troublemaker was part of that class, as was I.

Designing digital communities is a graduate class taught by a planning and urban design professor here at UT. So not only were we playing/inhabiting/building/whatever'ing, but we were examining the world, looking at previous ventures, testing hypothesis, and making suggestions.

one of troublemakers 'tests' was whether he could live in this world with out flying. It is a reasonably interesting hypothesis, given that flying is so much at the core of the world; but it is merely a convenience, not a necessity. People said he was crazy, for it, heh further proof of this is you digging up this post. It was to the point of people handling him wih caution. Even steller put him in a cage once(it was a joke, since that is what most cages are)! So it become just as much a social experiment as it did a physical one.

He gauged peoples reactions to his seemingly outlandish behavior. He put people on edge by his blatant disregard for personal space(which is a very interseting concept in a virtual world), if the abuse system had been in place at that time, I am sure he would have been suspended, at least once. Instead he was kindly asked by some of the lindens to cease his antagonizing ways. and he would for a bit.

Troublemaker is the only person i ever knew to have a negative rating.

p.s. if people are interested, I can rummage around for the reading list, since there was some pretty good stuff in it.

put on a pair of boxing gloves and you will run really fast. Only problem is you run really fast but u run in place more or less.

That's a great story, Nada. I wish I knew more about the history of this game. Maybe all the old-timers could write down their experiences from way back when, and we can put them all in one place. They could include old screenshots, which I imagine are in black and white

. Also, if you could find that reading list, Nada, I'd appreciate it.

ok they are boxing gloves made by roo jones. We were gonna have a boxing game but I guess it never went through. Anyways, the latest pair of gloves, scripted has some kinda odd thing it does where when u activate them they go all haywire and make your avatar run super fast in place. I have some pictures of it in-world if anyone wants to see. However it makes your avatar run is beyond me, only thing is you won't run anywhere but in place.
