Okay, I've been enjoying SL for a while now, and let's face it, there are things they should've dealt with before they even launched. These things seem small and easy to fix, and are basic necessities that nearly every SL resident could benefit from
1. More precision in building. Give us a hotkey that'll let us adjust in the tiniest increments possible, and lower the limit on how small objects can be. Also make building immune to lag. I lag a lot, and it's annoying having to redo things two or three times
2. Built-in control over animation. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-386 Come on. The defaults are goofy and AO systems are a glitchy hassle. If we could even just disable all default animations, that would be so helpful.
3. Control over movement speed. The first time I played SL, I said "Gee, my avatar is so sluggish. I wish I could be lighter on my feet." And I'm still saying it today. Also going along with this would be control over the delay before jumping, after landing, etc.
4. Ability to hide the default avatar. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-812 When you want to be a dragon or a robot, the human avatar does nothing but get in the way. It would be so much easier if we could just turn the dang thing off when we wanted. Having the option of a wire-stick-skeleton for building purposes would be helpful too
Scaling avatars would be handy too! https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6467
Not trying to complain, these just seem like easy fixes that would be so nice to have. If you have any other obvious glaring issues that Linden never seems to get around to, feel free to post them here
