Updater

Ok this is actually two requests..

First, I would like to see and auto updater on the SL client. Whenever we log on, it checks for any new builds or patches and installs them automatically so that you never have to worry if you missed an important patch or not.

This isnt so much about me being lazy, as it is about creating a more professional, polished piece of software. (lol though I am not denying the lazy bit)

Second, barring the updater I would like to see a more intelligent SL installer. Rather than deleting your old installation and installing itself, I would be more impressed with one that read your preferences first and input them (name, video/audio/cache/detail settings). Once again more about polish and professionalism.
