I am doing some work that requires snagging the material type of the prim it collides with. I know this isnt a grand world changing feature, its small and relatively simple, you cant currently snag it, so I'm posting. :)

I endorse this feature/idea.

Actualy it might be kind of nice to have something like llSetPrimitiveParam but with llGetPrimitiveParam that worked in sort of the same way, don't have any ideas on that now, but of course you would be able to get everything you can set with the primitive param call.

llGetPrimitiveParams... We NEED that.

llGetDetectedMaterial... It's an obvious missing function.

llDetectedPrimitiveParams... While something along these lines would be nice, I have no idea how it would handle linked sets. :/

llDetectedPrimitiveCount... A way to get the number of primitives in a detected object is a must.
